Windows for Workgroups TCP/IP 32 3.11b Configuration Guide

Go to the Network Program group.

Start the Network setup program.

Select Drivers.

Choose Add Protocol.

If TCP/IP is not a choice, choose Unlisted or Update Protocol.

Enter the Path the TCP/IP Driver (specifically the .inf file).

Choose MicroSoft TCP/IP-32 3.11b.

Select MS TCP and press setup.

Enter the IP address of the PC in the IP address box.

Enter the proper subnet mask for the PC (255.255.255.0 for class C).

Enter the IP address of the router in the default gateway entry.

Press the DNS button to configure the name servers.

* Choose the physically closest machine from the list of DNS Name Resolvers
* Enter this IP address in the left-hand box in the Domain Name Service (DNS) Search Order section.
* Click on Add.
* Do the same with the next closest machine.
* Click on OK, close then OK.

The program will inform you that it saved a backup of config files.

You will be prompted to restart.
